Final (12.05.18.)
8: Cláudia Pascoal - O jardim (Portugal)
It's in Portuguese! Good on Portugal for always sending songs in Portuguese. This song has a nice atmosphere going on and may grow on me.
?: Madame Monsieur - Mercy (France)
It's in French, as almost always! Now, I've forgotten most of my French, but I get the impression that this has a deep meaning going on. The song's no stand-out track melodically, but it may grow on me.
?: Michael Schulte - You Let Me Walk Alone (Germany)
Ed Sheeran's German brother?? :P Well, it's a fairly nice song. Once again, nothing earth-shaking.
?: Amaia y Alfred - Tu canción (Spain)
Aww, it's cute. Nothing special, though.
?: SuRie - Storm (United Kingdom)
I mean, are we even trying at this point? We fucking picked the most generic, tired, boring-arse song going LMAO. We could've had motherfuckin trap (Sure, even that wasn't the greatest tune ever, but holy shit at least it had some proper life to it) and we went for this utterly unoriginal pile of dogshit. What the fuck is wrong with us
?: Ermal Meta e Fabrizio Moro - Non mi avete fatto niente (Italy)
It's in Italian! And I think I actually like this one. The chorus is decent, and the lyrics appear to be meaningful. Nice, Italy!
WHO WILL WIN? Overall, I currently feel that Montenegro is probably most deserving of a win, since it gets that modern-traditional Eurovision slush down pat. However, apparently the odds are in Israel's favour, and really I'll be quite satisfied with an Israeli win this year. Love that weirdarse song. xD
