Mmkay, I've been looking around for depressing music, and as per usual, I've found myself being disappointed. This may be because I'm not just looking for sad music, I'm looking for music that's so depressing, it rips your heart out (because that sort of music makes me happy). So, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas!

Diamanda Galás - Gloomy Sunday
George Michael - Mother's Pride
Spiritualized - Broken Heart
Oguro Kumiko - Lilium
Shostakovich - String Quartet No. 8 (Movement I)
Gary Jules - Mad World
Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven
Kanno Youko - Tsuki no Mayu

Also... in my quest for depressing music, I ended up watching X-Japan's performance of 'Forever Love' at their last live. 'Twas sad to see them all tearful and stuff =( But I love 'Forever Love' without drums, because I personally think it's ten times sadder like that.

EDIT: Oh, and even though this song isn't necessarily sad, I find 'Sora no Aosa' by Arai Akino to be a good song for a depressing music list.
